Kyle Youth Football Association’s primary focus is the health and safety of its players, families, and guests. Therefore, at the recommendations of state, county, city, CDC, and University Interscholastic League (UIL) officials, with the focus to allow individuals the opportunity to re-engage in outdoor sports, we have implemented the policies and procedures below that will guide our return to training. These policies will be updated as the health situation progresses.
Our goal is to re-establish practice and competition, with a focus on the health and safety of our athletes and volunteers.
The protocols discussed below are meant as general guidelines, and should be considered in the context of federal, state, and county recommendations.
All individuals should self-screen before attending training as outlined by State of Texas guidelines listed here: SELF-SCREEN. If you or anyone in your household has any of these symptoms, DO NOT COME TO PRACTICE. Along the same lines, per the U.S. Center for Disease Control guidelines, people 65 and older and people with serious underlying medical conditions should not attend activities. Finally, if you have come in contact with someone who has tested positive, it is important to self-quarantine for 14 days.
By following these guidelines above, we can begin our phased approach to return to the game we love while protecting ourselves and those around us.
